I have been searching for secure toolboxes to put in my new pickup's bed. I saw another truck on the road yesterday that had a DiamondBack Bed Cover and have been researching their product on-line (DiamondBackCovers.com) and this appears to be exactly what I have been looking for.
Does anyone out there have experience with this cover? If so, I'd appreciate what comments you have about this product before I spend my hard-earned money. Or, if you have some other cover, I'd also appreciate hearing what you like, or don't like, about your cover. Thanks in advance!
I have the HD linex version and it is fantastic. You can load lumber on top, both wings lock for secure storage, you can even put a pair of quads on top if you are so inclined. (Just waiting for approval from the CEO to purchase a quad)
Keeps everything in the box dry.
If you have a tall item most times all you have to do is flip the rear panel forward. The whole thing can come off in about 20 min, same to put back on once initial setup is done, just sharpie marker where the center panel should be and then it's a snap to get it aligned again.
I am considering one of the rack options for carrying a canoe on the truck.
Tie downs on the cover are strong and take a good amount of force from a ratchet strap.
Also you can have several people walk on the cover at the same time. Makes a great platform also for cleaning the roof of the truck and the local car wash and the diamond plate finish limits chance of slipping when it's wet, linex even more so....
I made some plywood trays to fit in the back of the truck to slide stuff out of the box. A separate tray in the front keeps stuff organized there.
Works great for hauling and camping.
Edit....
I forgot to mention their website often had units with blemishes, demos, production errors that won't affect usage but they sell at a reduced cost. That is where I got mine. Had it delivered to my local linex dealer and they fork lifted the pallet onto the back of the truck.

I'm glad I found this thread! I think I'm pretty much sold on the diamondback hd with the linex! It seems like perfect accessory so I can buy/haul another ATV.

Had one on my 06 Tundra and loved it. Bought it as a demo for much less than retail. Was by far my favorite accessory and if I didn't haul 5ers now I would have one on my new truck in a heartbeat. I have hauled everything you can imagine on the top of it in the 3.5 years I had it.

Thanks for the pics. I was looking on their website at the "scratch and dent" section but it seems that there are good deals on about every other truck other than a Dodge short box! So.. I might not luck out like you did but I'm pretty much sold completely on this cover. I was originally planning on buying one of those aluminum sled/atv decks that can haul two atvs but now with this setup not only can I still haul 2 atvs but also have a nice rugged bed cover. Win win for me!
