My wife and I are going to Canal Campground the week of April 23rd and plan on going to the ELK-BISON park at Golden Pond on the lower end of the lakes. Has the US68 bridge been repaired and reopened yet? If not what is the best way from Grand Rivers to get there? Is the Trace a road that goes all the way through? Any of my maps don't give me enough detail to know for sure. The shortest most direct way is preferred since we will be in our Tracker not the MH.

The trace road through the park is a very GOOD way to get there. It would be a LOT shorter than going out of the park and around then back into the park again to get there.

Yes, the trace goes all the way from north to south ends. Good road although a bit curvy - you are there to see the scenery not make time so it is is all good!!
