Can't seem to get an answer out of dealerships in the area (neverending hold) I'll ask here.

Does anyone know where we can order the amber colored light cover that goes on the light by our TT door? (see signature for trailer). Looked and looked and looked, and either I'm just not good at googling, or you have to buy the whole light kit. We somehow lost the cover when hauling the camper new from Michigan to our home in North Dakota.

Thanks!

I've never had problems finding the covers at nearby RV dealers. If you still have the old one, take it with you to the nearest parts department. Otherwise, take a picture and measurements.

Take a picture of your light and post it here. If any of us have the same one we can get the number off the lens.

When you do find one and get it back on you might want to add some silcone around it. it will help to keep it n the trailer and seal out the water. Don't use too much or it will be a pain in the rump to get off to replace the bulb.

I have lost a few until I figured out this little trick. Actually I think I lost one in the campground once. Someone must have been having a hard time finding one for their Jayco and decided mine would fit.

Nearly every RV dealer carries several sizes/styles. Have you been to your local dealer? Here a link to a number of different oncs at Camping World. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/product/porch-light/6130

I'll try to get a picture of the light. It's just the cover we need. Trying to get into a local dealership to see if they have any (though living in the middle of nowhere not many choices). Sat on eternal hold when I called the place we bought the camper from so gave up and hung up. The camper is in it's winter storage lot so have to get a time to drive over there. I'll check the websites that have been mentioned as well. Camping world I didn't see just light covers, only the whole fixture. Thanks!

Ah! Sorry I spoke too soon..I DO see the replacement lenses on camping world. I'll measure the light tonight and get one ordered. Thanks so much! Also thanks for the tip about silicone, we'll put a dab on there and see if that helps. In our bitter cold winters here, I wouldn't be surprised if we go through multiple each year.

I recall seeing amber bulbs somewhere. If I didn't have CRS, I would know where I saw them.
