I brought this home a couple weeks ago. It's a 2010 F450 FX4 King Ranch with Key-less entry, heated seats, Sync, Navigation, Sat radio, remote start, back-up camera, and of course that nice man-step built into the tail gate (maybe that will keep me from tearing up my knee again).

It was a bank repo from south Texas that had been used by a tradesman. No GN or 5er hitch, just a class-V receiver, and the bed had been used to haul materials. A few minor cosmetic blems on the exterior, and the bed interior is missing a fair amount of paint but no dents to speak of. I'm going to have the bed Rhino-Lined Monday.

I've been spending my spare time the last few weeks changing fluids and filters, ordering TC hauling stuff, buying and programing key-fobs (only got one key and one remote that would lock/unlock the doors, remote start is a separate fob), cleaning it up and getting a few minor things fixed.

It's in pretty darn good shape considering it was being used as a work truck. Font tires are new, rear tires have about 50% tread.

Any of you F450 owners carrying anything off a front hitch receiver? I'm planning on carrying my toolbox on the front of this truck like I'm doing on the old truck. I'm planning to make a trip or two without the box so I know what "normal temp" is for this truck. I had no problem with the old truck getting hotter with the toolbox in front.

I've made a few unloaded trips in it already just to get a comfort-level with the truck. Gets about 12.5 mpg at 65 mph. I'm not sure when it will be ready to haul the camper, work is keeping me pretty busy right now. I still have to mount the front tie-downs (Torklift) and wire the plug in the bed which will include a heavy-duty charge circuit. I may have to lift the camper a little higher in the bed because the cab height is taller than the old truck.

Looking forward to the first trip!

Yes, 6.4L. 50K miles, clean Oasis, and had it inspected by a Ford diesel service tech. at a local dealership.

I love the heated seats in our truck, and I am sure you will too on those cold, cold mornings!

I really enjoyed my 6.4 for towing heavy. If I ever went back to a trailer / fifth wheel I would have no problems owning one again (I would have to take some stuff off.... but that's another discussion).

Awesome looking rig, I'm very jealous!
