I have a 2004 Phaeton (has a 2003 Freightliner chassis w/ 330HP Cat engine) that acts like it is starving for fuel when I push the accerelator pedal down. The rpm's come up very slowing when is the pedal is pushed down just sitting still. It barely will move its self on level ground. This coach has just the one fuel filter at the back of the radiator. I have changed it and install new air filter also with no difference. It does not want to start without a shot of either in air filter.
Is there an electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank that pumps fuel to the injector pump. The engine does not miss or smoke when it is running.
Open to any ideas that might help!!
