One of the many. many issues I've had with my Adventurer 86SBS is the front passenger jack is clicking. All of them have the paint peeling and have begun to rust. My Adventurer is not even a season old. I contacted Adventurer warranty and they told me I was on my own - Call Happi Jack. I have to pay for shipping to get them diagnosed and repaired. I also asked what to do with the camper without Jacks. Adventurer told me to leave it on my truck which is not an option.
That's seems pretty normal. The TC manufacturer warranties the frame, if you will, and all the associated parts get their manufacturer's warranty. You have problems with your water heater, you contact Suburban or Atwood. You have a problem with the toilet you contact Thetford.
If the jack is clicking but still functional can you take the TC off the truck and rest the TC on stands and then remove the problem jack?
I found that out as well. I waited until the camper warranty was about to expire only to discover that the jacks had their own warranty that had expired in the prior year.
I called Happijac about the problem (peeling paint on 3 jacks) and they said "no problem". I did pay one-way shipping but they sent back 3 retubed / rebuilt jacks within a couple of weeks. I left mine on the truck but if that's not an option you could either borrow another truck that someone's not using or set it on some kind of low profile frame.
I also had an issue with a Rieco Titan jack after about one year. I dealt strictly with RT. I called them up and they sent me a new motor head, no questions asked. With RT,they told me not to return the bad motor head until I received the new one and was satisifed. Possibly Happijac will allow you to use the jacks until you get your new ones. RT emailed me a return shipping label to return the bad one, after I was satisfied with the new one.

Thanks y'all. I just wanted to make sure this was SOP. I've been getting the runaround on everything else with these guys from Adventurer. I did find the warranty info in the mess of an owners manual they gave me with the camper. It does state that all accessories carry their own warranty. Just figured I would ask and also make sure others were aware too. Thanks again.
I had to send a jack in to HappiJac and the process was easy. Turned out to be a bad motor winding. Got good service from HappiJac, no problems since.
Call ahead to get a return authorization number.
Unload the camper if the jacks still work. Lower it onto some adequate base. Remove the front jacks and ship to Happi Jack. At least you'll have the truck free.
I experienced a rear jack failure on my 04 Lance a few years ago while on a business trip. There was a very slight bend in the foot of the jack base that I got when I stopped to shop and dry-dock at a Walmart for the night. Didn't notice it until stopping for the night the following day. I believe the jack was bumped by a car next to me pulling out of the parking space. The jack worked but was a little noisy. I got to Buffalo, NY in the dead of winter and off loaded the camper at a friend's house and used the truck as a daily driver. A couple of days later when it was time to head home, the rear jack failed. Called Atwood who advised to send it in and they would look at rebuilding it... time, about three weeks turn-around at a cost of about $200, freight etc. That's not good. Called RV places within 100 miles of Buffalo to find nothing is in stock. Called Lance with an explanation about time and place and they pulled one from their inventory and shipped two-day air to a NY RV dealer, who forwarded it to me overland. Took about 20 minutes to adjust the three other jacks, raising the right rear corner and replacing the jack. My cost was about $450, but I was glad to get out of the snow and cold in 4 days. Lesson learned? Park far in the back of the parking lot at the Box stores. Good luck. Hopefully, time is on your side.
Tell them you are going to buy some Rieco-Titans. Maybe THAT will get you some help. RT has a great customer service department.
