I had to send a jack in to HappiJac and the process was easy. Turned out to be a bad motor winding. Got good service from HappiJac, no problems since.
Call ahead to get a return authorization number.

I've also had responsive & good service from Happijac (in my case for a sheared-off jack mounting bolt).

Wow. Sorry about your lousy quality and service from Adventurer. I will cross this camper off my list as possible candidates when I pull the trigger.

Don't cross Adventurer off your list based on 1 person's view. Call the company and talk to them regarding your concerns. We have a new Adventurer and absolutely love it. We have a couple of issues and are having them looked at.

x2 except no issues as of yet for me.
that goes for any make camper. this issue is not an adventurer issue but the jack manufacturer. you would have the same thing said from every make.
if you had a chevy truck would you blame chevy for an issue with a canopy you have on it?
however, if adventurer was rude about it then yes, that is an issue.

X3, I have a 2005 9FWS and it has been awesome. Anytime I needed anything from Adventurer they were great to deal with.

This is not an adventurer issue as mentioned. But I have plenty of adventurer issues I've been dealing with since I bought the camper. I do not want to get into specifics yet but they have not fixed many of my warranty issues. I've been getting the runaround for about 4 months now. I plan on doing a long post when I come to a resolution on my problems with adventurer. As of right now, I would never purchase an adventurer again and would advise against anyone else looking at buying one. Please pm me if you have any questions. I do not wish to argue about the good bad and ugly of adventurer. I have my proof and will provide it for all to see when if I get it resolved.

I believe the original poster explained that they have had multiple problems with their new camper as well as lousy service.

One of the many. many issues I've had with my Adventurer 86SBS is the front passenger jack is clicking. All of them have the paint peeling and have begun to rust. My Adventurer is not even a season old. I contacted Adventurer warranty and they told me I was on my own - Call Happi Jack. I have to pay for shipping to get them diagnosed and repaired. I also asked what to do with the camper without Jacks. Adventurer told me to leave it on my truck which is not an option.

Any thoughts on my predicament?

You didn't state under what conditions the jack clicks.
Have you insured that the jacks being operated on a level surface with truck bed level and camper also level?
Are you using leveling bubbles?
An over-weighted jack will click.

Side note- don't retract a jack until it clicks - there is an internal rubber doughnut that cushions the mechanism when it reaches the end - the rubber doughnut can burst during that process and cause jack problems.

The HappiJac facility in Salt Lake has provided excellent service and is five-star in my book.

Check with local rv dealers for a used happijac - it should be heavily discounted. You only need the lower mechanism and can swap out the motor yourself.

I have some troubles with it. But hey, at least I have an RV, the time to use it and the people to make memories with in it. I did pick a bad straw. I tell my wife, I used on my luck getting her. Now it's all gone! I sure hope to get it all straight .
