What year is your trailer and what shape was your roof in before you started?
I am going to clean mine and was thinking about using Spic & Span, but I like Dawn as a cleaning product also.

Now if you cover it when not camping it will stay that way longer.

my trailer is a passport 2012 the roof was not too dirty just wanted to catch it early.
