Hello all,

Just purchased a 2012 KZ Spree 321 BHS from Niagara Trailers in ON. Towed it home to NS. What a fantastic trailer. Looking forward to soliciting tips and tricks from the members here as well as contributing what I can from the law enforcement perspective.

We're planning on taking the boys to Fort Wilderness in Disney in Aug. Any pointers from those who have driven down and stayed there?

Welcome aboard and thanks for purchasing in Ontario. We were past Niagara Trailers last month and could believe how many units they had in stock and at a storage area a couple of miles/kilometers away.

As for Fort Wilderness, you will get a lot more responses if you post NS to Fort Wilderness in the Topic line. We can't comment on the route down from the east coast. We prefer the Aug to Oct time at Disney, The big reason is that the rates go down after the first week of August (Aug 5 this year). As the rates go down so do the crowds in the Theme Parks, very little wait times for attractions.
Different Loops have different advantages, some closer to the beach and boat transportation to Magic Kingdom, other are closer to the very large pool area. All areas are served by an internal bus transportation system. Bicycles are also an advantage (depending on the age of the boys. The Disney Web site has tons of information available and you can google for other Disney forums.
Don't miss the Electric Water show at the beach at 9:45 every night.
You will get lots of comments about the weather, high temps and humidity in August. Temps were in the low 90sF and we had rain every day, started about 5pm and lasted about 15 min, only 2 days did it last longer. The Fort is quite shaded We were they for about 18 days a couple of years ago with our two grandsons (10 &12) at the time and they enjoyed the Fort Wilderness as much as the Theme Parks.

Also in the search bar (upper left corner of page) put in Fort Wilderness to see how much has been posted here.

Enjoy your new trailer and also your trip to Disney.

Congrats on the new trailer, hope you enjoy it. Just thought I would ask you about going east. We are from Manitoba and are heading to the Maritimes in july. Is there anything that you could recommend we see, from Québec on as we have travelled in Ontario already in 2010.

There are several worthwhile places to visit in NB and NS:

-Magnetic Hill in Moncton NB is a crowd pleaser any day. Kids love going there.

-Oak Island NS is pretty cool. Lots to do and see. Historically rich.

-The cabot trail in Cape Breton NS is extremely scenic. Probably the most beautiful part of Atlantic Canada

-Peggy's Cove NS is the quintessential place to visit to experience the Atlantic Ocean from shore. Very beautiful and very safe, however, every year a tourist or two dies because the get to close to the waves and are pulled into the surf. With that said, we take our kids there all the time and they love it. We climb all over the rocks but never get too close to the water.

-The Maritime Museum , the Maritime Discovery Centre and places similar to that along the Historic Properties in Halifax are culturally rich. You could easily spend a full day down on the boardwalk on the Halifax side of the harbour with your family. Tugboat tours, breweries, very old pubs litter the place.

These are the ones that came to mind first!
