I have a 2001 and love it. By a fuel pressure gauge and electric fuel pump relocate it under bed. Make sure you have pressure so the injecter pump stays lubercated

I'm looking at a 2002 Dodge Cummins 2WD Extended Cab Longbed 6 speed stick with 150,000 miles. Anything special to look for on this model? I know to ask about lift pump (fuel pressure) maintenance. Do the 2wd have the front suspension issues of the 4WD? It won't be a daily driver.

Had the 2000 with 5 speed, I know its not what you're looking at, but in some cases wish I hadn't traded it for the 08, I do like the 08 and knew what I was going to loose... some MPGs

I think you'll like it.

I wouldn't worry too much about the book prices....Search the ads in your neck in the woods (craigslist, ebay, etc) and see what they are actually selling for. Offer them what it is worth to you....ten grand for a clean truck would be a nice deal, in my opinion.

You could get the Ho option( in 2001 and 2002) with either a 3.54 or the 4.10 gear.....I have the 3.54 in mine.
