Bought my new Roo HTT from these guys. Not many options around me. First, problems with contract. Said one thing and put something completely different in contract. Then delivered my trailer without second battery installed which I requested and paid for. Please google them and do you own due diligence. I only purchased from them because it seems they were the only ones relatively close with the HTT I wanted. If you have other options, I would recommend going elsewhere based on my experience.

Must be a bad dealership. I read a post yesterday that someone had the same exact problem.

Your post from yesterday got shut down because you mentioned litigation. Just a suggestion as I went thru the same bad experience with our last trailer. Let it go. I let it eat me up and although I had a nice trailer, everytime I looked at it I was reminded of my poor dealer experience. I ended up hating an otherwise nice trailer. You bought this HTT to have fun. Face the fact that there are jerk dealers out there and go have fun. Don't let a bad purchasing experience ruin your recreational experience. JMHO

So I ASSUME you mentioned their oversight and actually GOT the second battery you ordered, correct? If not then why not? Anyone can overlook a detail but when you show them your receipt then make it right. There are LOTS of dealers who might do a lot worse than that.

I assume that if the contract didn't have what you want in it, then you didn't sign it. You did read it in detail right?

back in '06, when i was shopping for a Roo, i had dealings with Best RV.
i left there with a bad taste in my mouth. and i haven't read many positives about them.

yes, they have the best Roo prices out on the West Coast but they were still way more expensive than RVW or RVDirect.

i chose to drive to a Midwest Roo dealer that had a very good rep and beat RVW and RVDirect's prices.
so, that is an option for those of us in the West. you just have to decide if it's worth it. for a savings of $4000 on a $22K MSRP trailer, it was worth it to us.

you could contact FR and file a complaint or use the BBB.

Agree on letting this go and just enjoying your new trailer - easy for me to say, it's not mine. A lot harder to do than to say, but give it a try. Make lots of happy memories and enjoy!!

Sounds like you didn't read the contract very well or inspect the rig before excepting it.Looks like you and the dealer goofed up. Show them that you paid for the battery, get them to install it then go camping and learn from the experience.
