Stuff in a chunk of foam rubber. Anything that will fill the void would work. Reminds me..I have to do that to mine. Thanks

A piece of thick foam rubber that fits tight is what we use , works great.

momma house rhen has nested every spring in ours when we had to take 5thW for new tires last year we had to take nest & babys for their first rv trip.(only about 1 hour) Needless to say when we got home momma was not happy. This year we put wire screening over the opening. She hasn't set up house keeping this year.

We got two mesh laundry bags. Opened up the bottom of one to get over the rear of the king pin box and then pulled the second one over the end of the first. Tied them up tight onto the pin box and so far so good. Last year I pulled out my cords and out came a nest full of baby birds. Not good and messy and smelly.

Plastic garbage in king pin. Also don't forget the opening under the propane tanks.

Wadded up newspaper.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.
