We have a small 20' TT and want to visit the Outer Banks for the 1st time. What is the best time of year to go and some of the best CG's to stay on a modest budget. Would like to go for a week. Thanks.
Off season - April or May, September or October. Our daughter lives there and we like the spring - pre-hurricane season. Our favorite campground is Ocean Waves, sort of small, great sites, over the dunes to the ocean. It is also probably the least expensive with hook-ups.http://www.oceanwavescampground.com/
