Hello all. Got the wife to Hallmark again today. Randy was awesome. He entertained our 1 year old with an empty water jug. Then we were all entertained by the 1 year old. We are ready to buy a 1-5 year old Guanella or Ute. ************* I live in Castle Rock Colorado and have a short bed truck. I noticed the classifieds does not have Hallmark as an option.
Very impressed with their campers. Went over there gung-ho on a Ute. But came to realize that we do not HAVE to have a full (wet) bath. A cassette or porta would work fine for us. Given the size difference and the price, a Guanella would work as well. We priced one out with the following options:
Power roof
Power jacks
Rear mounted accessory boxes
Cassette toilet
We got a bit of a sticker shock. Figured I would try used first.

Randy sold us our 2006 Okanagan 811-SL new. Great guy and enjoyed talking with him. We talked over the phone, and just on our word bought the new camper.

We ordered our new Hallmark from Randy at the RV Show last year. We custom ordered all the options we wanted and all he asked for was a handshake to do the build. How many companies would do a custom built camper on just your handshake?
This is our second Hallmark and we believe you really do get what you pay for from them. We loved our old Cuchara but the new roof and the composite side walls make the Hallmark superior in construction to everything else. The resale value seems to hold very well also.
Did you happen to ask Randy if he might have a demo that will work for you when they get back from the Overland Expo next month?
