This is from one of the dometic manuals on their ac/heat pump model: "Evenly tighten mounting bolts to compress gasket to 1/2" this will be a torque of 40 - 50 inch pounds. The bolts are self locking so over tighten- ing is not necessary."
I would go by the 1/2" if you don't have an inch pound torque wrench. As your unit is about 10 yrs old and if the gasket has never been replaced, now would be a good time to replace it. It is not a hard job if you have an extra person on hand. Do a search on google for your make and model and you will find an installation sheet with directions. Good luck.

Roy....When I tighten mine, I use a 1/4" drive socket set and snug them fiormly. This prevents overtightening with a large wrench.

If your gaskets are more than 5 years old, REPLACE them. IF you overtighten or if they are already compressed too much from time, you will not ever get them sealed and you may even block off the evap drain holes. Which will cause water overflow into the RV. Doug

Roy,
I was fortunate to know an RV Manufacture Engineer and he told me to tighten with a cordless drill set to the lowest setting. He told me if you squeeze them to much they will fail.
I had a leak that a local RV dealer couldn't find and fix. Ask the Engineer no more leaks since. I totally loosened all four and then tightened.

Have made a appointment for tomorrow to drop MH off, think I will go a head a replace the seal's on both A/C. I also have a leak up front behind the driver seat I cannot find, the top has been re-caulked about two weeks ago. I just happened to think I have sprayed water every where up front, but the front A/C, maybe if they replace the front seal maybe that will take care of it. Would like to thank all of you for your replys, I have gained so much knowledge from the forum members.

Roy
