I've posted quite a bit about this in the Jayco Owners Forum, but thought I'd post it here as well. Last Wednesday (4/11) at 12:14am Some scumbag approached my Jayco 32BHDS, 14 minutes later, at 12:28 he stole it from the storage lot we kept it at in West Knoxville.
I discovered it was missing when I went to pick it up to gt ready for a trip with the family to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. After watching security camera footage for about 7 hours, we were able to locate the exact time it was stolen and have him on film.
One other annoying thing was we just finished paying a couple thousand dollars for some body work for a tire blow out - go figure...
It appears he completely disassembled the HA, hooked it up and left. Unfortunately the lot didn't have a fence. Hensley Arrow's don't seem to be able to take a hitch lock, but in the future I will likely route some big old chains and locks through the wheels.
So, now we're working through insurance claims (thank goodness for GAP coverage) and all of the lists of contents (BTW, it's amazing how quickly this list can grow). The police aren't very optimistic about finding it, but we do have a decent bit of info from the video, but no plate numbers.
Because we didn't want to loose a whole season of camping this year, we went looking at new campers today. Although none feel as nice as "ours" we did go ahead and put a deposit on a new one today. I had them put in the language that if ours is recovered we will be refunded our deposit 100%. That is really what we are hoping for, but according to police, it'll be a long shot.
Anyway, hopefully I'll either update you guys that there was a miracle and ours was recovered, or putting a post about our new TT in a few weeks - a Jayco 32TSBH.

sorry to hear that brother the same thing happen to us but with are tow boat that we tow to the florida keys, it was stolen from the rv resort storage lot, worst part is we had bought the boat cash so there was no insurance to get involved, we later found some guy on craiglist selling of parts of are boat, check your local craiglist list you will be suprised how much stole stuff ends up for sale on there, here in Florida it happens all the time. good luck
He took the HA too. I have contacted Hensley and they have the serial number flagged in their computer if anyone tries to contact them with questions, parts, or to register. I wish they would have left it - it's an expensive bugger to replace, but I will be ordering another one.
We are checking craigslist and e-bay daily. I will also do some occasional drive bys of any local "full time" campgrounds. However, something tells me it'll end up as a meth lab or a hunting cabin of some sort. I'd love to catch the guy, other than rapist and those that commit crimes on children, theives are right at the bottom of my list.
My work van has a teletracking system, it can keep track of my van's location, it's speed, even shut off the engine if the owner wants to.
I was especially happy he had installed this when I went out at 9:30 one morning and found it missing, reported it, and the clerk told me "It is in Boulevard" - a city about 60 miles east of me. None of my $2800 in tools where still inside, nor the bosses $1,500 in torches, vacuum pump, recovery machine, ect. Even knowing that it left here at 3 am and stopped along I 8 to drop off the tools between 3:30 and 4:30 did not help me get my tools back.
But the boss recovered his $2,800 van with the ladders still locked on top.
Think about LoJack and it might help recover several stolen vehicles all at once! there are also alarm systems that use a cell phone to call you when the RV is broken into, or use a pager, in the event that your storage area is within 1-2 miles of your home. This was the case for my motorhome, it was about 400' from my home for many years, and the alarm worked great. To bad I installed the alarm 3 weeks after they broke into the motorhome and stole the TV, VCR, and some other goodies.

I would be suspicious of the place that did the body work and the tire repair. Not saying they did it themselves. But, one of there employees may be connected to the theft. After all why did he target this one and nothing else that was stored in that place. It doesn't sound like a random act. More like someone was looking specifically for that trailer.
The repair location was a Jayco dealership about 35-40 minutes away, and I don't recall ever mentioning where I store it at, but thats a good point and I will make sure I mention it to the detective and / or drive by and compare TVs with their parking lot.
The vehicle was a black Chevy truck, tinted windows, and had a stripe of black body molding. It was a king or crew cab (pretty sure it was crew) but kind of hard to tell on a black and white night vision camera.
I was really hopig that it would have said "Bubba's Tree Service" or something similar on the truck, but no such luck.
