This is the time of year where they are all over Florida. I took highway 27 and my coach was full of them love bugs. You have to wash it right away because those bugs have an acid type in them that will ruin your paint job.

That is one creature that I have never been able to find a purpose for. Nothing eats them that I know of.

They have been in Texas and La. since the 60's. Before the days of windshield washers on cars I remember my father having to get out and try to clean the bugs off the windshield with ditch water, can still remember the horrible smell drifting back into the car through the open windows (yea thats right no A/C either).

use rejex on the front of your car or coach then they will almost hose off

We saw the first ones last Thurs. around noon and within the first hour one of the little buggers had hooked up. go figure
