We use those hard plastic linking blocks. Keep two sets on hand because we use them under our rear landing gear too.

2x8 boards. Get a 16 foot length board cut it into 5', 5'4" and 5'8" lengths. Cut 45 degree angle on one end of each board so you can stack and drive on as needed. I've always been able to get level side to side with no more than these 3 boards

Yep, boards. But I like to cut them into pieces about 12"-16" long. Longer boards that lift both axles may have to span high spot or divots, that make them unstable. They can even flip up as you back onto them and smack the trailer skirting. Plus I only have to backup an additional foot or so to be on them. To each their own on that.

The plastic probably won't crush, but they will break if you don't place them on flat solid ground. Especially in cold weather. I don't feel I need them, but seems to me that they work well enough, are light, and easier to keep clean.

DITTO on the plastic. I like the versatility of them and they store well, too!

x3

I use them to level the picnic table too, if necessary.

Haven't had any problem like that. Couple might not be as pretty as brand new, but none are broken or crushed.

My boards are small enough to fit between the wheels. Some a little shorter than others so I can stack where need be. I never need to move more that a couple of feet to level the fiver. The graduated level on the nose indicates with relative accuracy how many inches I need to raise it.

If the ground gives the plastic blocks can explode and come back at you. I use them but have the same size in 3/4 plywood.
