Whenever we go to Washington D.C., we stay at Cherry Hill Park just north of D.C near College Park, MD. They have a bus that takes you to the D.C. Metro stop, one exit away from the campground exit or you can drive yourself to the stop and park there. You can ride to the Nationals ballpark on the train easy as well as sights and museums on the Mall. Cherry Hill is in all the campground guides.
