For the people that have bearing buddies, what kind of grease do you use? And how often do you pump it in?
Thank You

Mobil 1 synthetic.

I add more when built in indicator on Bearing Buddies indicates more is needed. It is rare.

Depending if travel trailer or boat trailer.Using both, I echo Chuck and Gail and Mobil 1. However I can't remember the last time used, although checked every trip. Boat trailer, I use a heavy marine grease and grease often. I run them fuller than most but rather have the sealing. Also, if a boat trailer, never back it right into the water after a long trip. Let is cool, even a few minutes helps. I learned the hard way... Travel safely and have fun!

I"d be VERY careful about putting too much grease in a bearing buddy since the grease can very easily lube your brake shoes and make your trailer brakes useless. That's why you almost never find them in use on a trailer with brakes.

Are these bearing buddies EZ lubes ?

They are not the same.

EZ lube by dexter requires a lithium complex grease as per the spec.

Dexter easy lubes on tt's and fifth wheels expell old grease out the wheel end, not onto the brakes. Bearing buddies used on boat trailers are different and can expell old grease past the seals. Read the instructions before you attempt. Bearing buddies are often added later on trailers and work fine if you lube them properly. Use google, it knows EVERYTHING.

I beleive it says Lippert on the black rubber cap of the bearing. Would that make it an EZ lube?
