Wild turkeys fly very well. They resemble a quail in flight. They are very dangerous out here in west texas while riding your m/cycle. When one comes across the road, look out because all of them will follow!!

I would have taken me longer to clean out my pants than it will take to clean out the motorhome.
Go buy lottery tickets while this run of good luck is with you.
I am glad both of you are safe.

Our exit door will not open until the air brakes are released as we have a seal around the door that fills with air. I guess we could toss it out a window!

There's another discussion, your exit door won't open until the brakes are released? Is that safe? I don't think I'd want a door that doesn't open when I need it to open without having to rely on something like the brakes being released.

Having gone thru this I too would not like a door you can't open. Mine locks automatically but you can unlock it by the button even while your moving.

So did you smoke, bake or deep fry him?
You are lucky it wasn't a buzzard! Hit one of those once but was lucky it didn't come through except for the smell.

Came up the Natchez Parkway Trail two days ago and a turkey tried to run right into the side of the MH. Not the smartest birds around I guess.

I read once that Benjamin Franklin wanted to make them the National bird instead of the Eagle! Glad that didn't work out.

Mark,
Have you tried opening your door with the air brake off and on. I think I have the same system that you do and I can open mine with both the air brake on and off...makes no difference. The seal just expands against the joint but I don't believe it keeps the door from opening unless something changed in the design between 2005 and 2008 in the Dynasty.
