We use "regular" toilet paper all the time..and have never used Bio-Pak. Mostly we just use a lot of water. Sometimes we use the perfume stuff if we have any.

Have always used 'regular' toilet paper........I might be camping or RV'ng but no reason to use 'scratch pads'.

As for chemicals, deodorants, toilet foo-foo.......only chemical we use is H2O.

Thanks for the replies. We are new to RV camping. Thought you had to use chemicals to dissolve solids etc. We have yet to take our trailer out yet. Hoping to in May.

I only use water in mine. Whether or not the chemicals actually digest the solids I can't tell you. In the end though I don't really care if they break down or not. They are sealed in my blank tank and leave it in a rush when I drain the tank. The best thing to do is to use plenty of water when you flush and make sure the tank is at least 3/4 full before you drain it.
