does anyone on here use this pass, and how do you like it? we are curious if it is a good deal for us to use or if we should look somewhere else, do people sell passes they have already and where would we look?
Thank you.

Ebay always has lots of TT programs for sale. Be very careful though as TT has changed hands so many times no one is really sure who is who any more.

I had VERY BAD experiences with Thousand Trails back in 1998. I can't believe they are still in business.

The zone pass is a good deal for us. We use it about 100 days a year. That's about 8 bucks a night. If you use it twice a year that is 250 dollars a night.....not such a good deal

First, I would look at the CG's in the Zone that you want to buy. Being from NC, you most likely be interested in the 24 resorts in the Southeast Zone. Generally you would need to camp at least the 30 free days to off set the $499 cost($16+ a night) for one zone. A few weeks ago you could buy one zone and get one free. After the first 30 nights, each night will cost you $3. If you use it, it can be a good bargain. I am a TT member and have a lot of friends that have bought the Zone pass and love it.

You can not resell a Zone Pass.

My son bought a zone pass Easter weekend for $499 for two zones , buy one and the other thrown in. The zone pass is a great deal. I belong to TT {over 25 years} and I cannot walk away after one year. We really like TT as I can use every day of the year for the $275 yearly dues. We use about 150 days a year
as we spend 5 months in AZ in our House

It's a great deal if you always need it. But if you only use it several days a year, it's not worth purchasing one.

And yet I can camp 365 days a year for a yearly dues of $246.00.
I would suggest one examine the TT options carefully and make an educated purchase or pass it up. If you buy it and don't use it, it makes no sense at all. We use it almost religiously. Without it, we couldn't fulltime. Far as I'm concerned, TT is a well run and stable operation. Not to be confused with Western Horizon and its problems.

I have posted a few threads about TT. I am on the fence. I know that $499 for 2 zones is a great price....if you use the cgs. I also did a thread about buying all the zones and fulltiming with that package. many said it would not be worth the price as that I can come in cheaper not using the package. hmm..I can't figure that one out just yet lol--still deciding how to proceed.

right now we love beachfront. I book state cgs on the beach. that is our thing. so holding off on the TT zone pass because not any of the cgs are beachfront that I can find right now.

I don't know. this zone pass seems like a fab deal if used. just not sure how to move forward just yet on buying one.

We bought the $499 Zone package for the NE last July and have used it 4 or 5 times. I figured at less than $500 it wouldn't be a huge loss if it didn't pan out (at least it would be a lot cheaper than my losses in the stock market). We have a 30' Class A. So far we have been pleased with what we have encountered. Here a few observations that may affect your decision:
1. Accomodations are not always as high quality as better RV resorts but for the $ I still think it is a good deal and we just relax with what the facilities offer.
2. You are not guaranteed to have full hookups every time. If that is a big deal to you then I suggest not signing up. The one occasion we did not have sewer they pumped at our site for free (as long as it was on their schedule). Our experience is that the location management try pretty hard to please and if you can give them a little grace and work with them it works out fine (at least for us).
3. WiFi is not always available and when it is there is a fee.

We especially appreciate that we have access to three locations on the Jersey Shore which two weeks there easily pays for the yearly dues.
I was concerned when I signed up that there would be hidden fees so my wife and I took a weekend trip to the Gettysburg location to try it out and find out what surprises there were. We did not find any (other than the WiFi costs). We stayed for the weekend with no additional costs.
I think the best advice I can give you is that if you are expecting high levels of accomodations don't do it. If you can appreciate the overall costs of the program and work within it and still have fun then it is a good deal.
I like the fact that there are 4 locations within 45 minutes of our home that make it easy to have weekends away with our grandkids without taking out a mortgage for fuel.
I plan on re-signing this July unless something changes with our life or with the program/company.
I hope this helps, if you have any questions please let me know.
