We finally received our 2012 Ford F-150 XLT HD MaxTow Crewcab in March and drove it to Florida and back to board a cruise on March 30-April 8. Last Friday am, we hooked it to our camper and pulled it to Townsend, TN for the Volunteer Campers Annual Campout at Misty River RV Park.

It pulled and stopped the TT wonderfully. Even up the hills (mountains to you flatlanders), it never slowed and when we did get to the mountains, it never slowed below 55 (going 60). It was fabulous and I would recommend it to anyone pulling a light/medium weight trailer. (Ours has a dry weight of 6800, loaded weight of about 7500).

Skip, thanks for all your knowledge and help on this purchase.

I just glad, (from your Sig) you know how to say Appalachian. So many Flatlanders call them the Appa-lay-sion Mountains. No such place.

I live right smack-dab in the middle of them - I sure hope I can pronounce them and there is a little town about 10 miles from me called Appalachia (apple-at-cha).

Sorry I missed the camp out. The pictures over at volunteercampers looked like fun.

Glad you like the truck and hope it was worth the wait.

The campout was so very much fun - there were 10 units and about 25 people. You will need to go next time.

The truck was great, not sure if I would wait 4 months again, though.
