Factory didn't install galley valve? I'm guessing you mean the valve to drain the galley tank.. Lacrosse trailers have two grey tanks, galley and grey (for shower and bathroom sink). Both tanks are connected and drain from the same valve. Installing a galley valve would not have been necessary. So you would have had two valves, black and grey. Did you ever directly contact Prime Time?

Yes the drain for the galley tank. I Called Prime Time after my fourth visit. Talked to a Customer representative. I originally called just to find out where else i could take it for warranty service. I talked to Kent Roberts and he wanted to get the manager who over looks the 7 stores involved. i agreed and still had issues the 5th time in.

lacrosse308res has a valid point as General RV locations here are not exactly known for their service but more for their sales...the Grand Rapids and Novi locations have been OK for service but have heard nothing about the Birch Run location

We have been dealing (not by choice) with the Brownstown, MI location and so far our service representative has been nothing but wonderful; but then there's the GM of the Brownstown, MI location who we despise (you reading this Frank?) - now there's a long story

The galley and grey tanks dont drain from the same valve. Galley tank drains into grey tank when you open the galley drain valve.

My wife and i purchased a new trailer (finally!) from General RV in August of 2011. We decided to get a Lacrosse 308res, because of the opposing slideouts which opens the back end of the trailer up and i love the huge shower! We love the camper, but hate our selling dealer now! We have had our rig in 5 TIMES for a simple plumbing leak since we have owned it!! They also missed a galley valve not installed from he factory on the prep! After replacing the grey water valve on the second time in,when i brought it in the 3rd time they found the valve loose because it was not installed properly. on the third time in they caused another leak from the sewage outlet that it did not originally have. on the fourth time in, they finally fixed the original leak but didnt fix the leak out of the sewage outlet that they caused. The fifth time in,they replaced the black and grey valves and the sewage pipes. When i picked it up the fifth time in, we went in the back and they had all the tanks full. when we drained the tanks,it started leaking again!! i waited an hr and half while the technician pulled the black valve out that he just replaced and put another seal in that valve. turns out the technician didnt lube the seals when he installed the valve so it rolled the seal over. I will NEVER take my trailer back there, and will NEVER buy another trailer or product from that company again. The made me irritated enough where i created another facebook page (General Rv Sucks). If you have had problems with Genereal Rv, like my page and post what issues you have had! I'm doing everything i can to turn everybody that i can away from Geveral RV.

look up some of my posts regarding my issues. 3 guess where I bought it from.

So it seems water leaks are some what common in brand new trailers? Our first camper was a 1969 13' Cavalier that i gutted and rebuilt myself. Never had water leaks after i rebuilt it. Our second camper was a 1975 25' Coachman with leaks and other issues. The wife and i decided to get a brand new camper a month after we got married because i was tired of working on the old campers. hat a disappointment there! I work as an automotive tech,so i really dont want to work on my camper when we are away for the weekend! I also dont understand how these service departments can keep having comebacks and not repair these RV's properly. That wouldnt fly at my dealership, and i dont expect it to at a RV service center either
