I'm not a fan of fast food joints and rarely go to one.

Today we were over in Kearney, NE going to the 'Trails & Rails Museum', due to time restraints and my stomach growling we stopped at 'Culvers'.

I gotta say........WOW

The french fries were great. Like the ones I remember in my younger days. Crisp on the outside, hot tender & moist on inside and tasted like a french fry.
The strawberry shake was smooth, rich and real chunks of strawberries and so yummmmmmmmmmmmmy
The hamburger.......well it was a deluxe with cheddar cheese, lettuce, red onion, pickle, a tomato that tasted like a tomato and the patty was delicious.........it tasted like a hamburger is suppose to taste.

Good thing I don't like fast food joints

Looks like the closest one to me is in the Nashville area. I will have to try them out.

Culvers is definitely better than the other fast food joints. Glad I have one a couple of miles from the house

We go for the Flavor of the Day at Culver's - one scoop in a cup. Got on their e-mail list and once a month get the list for each day. Today it is Cookies & Cream. The 22nd is Carmel Cashew, yummie in the tummie...

Sounds delicious. And, I found there are a few of them not to far from me. I may go to one for a special occasion some day. But, a big chunk of red meat fried in butter sounds like the sort of thing that if ate one and told my doctor about it he would probley faint.

Shoot. There's one only 30 miles away from home. Practically next door!

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
