Does anyone store their campers at a storage lot? What is your monthly rate?
And what is your insurance costs on a pop-up?

Insurance on a pop-up is next to nothing (if I remember correctly). Our dealer sells storage from an adjacent lot they own. Price is 50 clams a month. That's for no cover though. it would obviously be more for a roof.

Thats the nice thing about tent trailers. Most people park them in their garage for free.

That's the nice thing about not getting answers to the question asked - you have to repeat them or say "not possible due to whatever" Just a bit of a suggestion for future posts: you have to say you can't do "x, y or z" when asking about "a", and an explanation of "why" is helpful to form better answers.
Typical example question: "What size generator should I get for...?"
Typical example answers: "You need solar." "Why do you want to offend your neighbors?" "Make sure it's the right brand!" and so on.
When I was storing mine in Kansas, it was $40/month for uncovered. I did keep my first PUP in a garage except for special circumstances. However, I upgraded to a larger PUP recently and probably won't be able to keep in the garage anymore. I'll be looking at storage lots here, it seems.
Ask about contract vs. month-to-month. Often, you will not have access to electricity at the lot, so bring your battery home so it doesn't drain, or at least disconnect it while stored. Fenced but 24-hour access was a requirement of mine (not uncommon for me to go get it at 10:00 p.m.). And do make sure you have appropriate vandalism/theft insurance coverage, as no place (including your garage) is thief-proof. Only mildly thief-resistant.

We have to pay for storage at an outside lot, we are in California and in an "expensive" area with not alot of storage. It's $80 a month, but behind two locked gates, with security cameras.....

Found out insurance is at most $16.50/month for the 2005 Rockwood and uncovered storage is $20/month. Covered would run about $50/month.
I appreciate all replies! The garage/driveway is an issue due to city ordinances, but I may call the codes office for clarification.

I think we pay about $100 a year for insurance on our pop up.

$20 a month! That's a steal here. The cheapest I could find was $50 a month and some were to $75, all for uncovered gravel lots.
Let's just say the garage got reorganized.

I leave mine where I camp (Old Lewiston Bridge Campground) & they store it for $25 a month. In addition they set it on site, take off site & put on the Winter cover for this outdoor storage.
