Just wondering if anyone has stayed here and could rate it, we are looking to commute to Memphis to the attractions, we heard that Mississippi is a little safer than Memphis...thanks

We stayed at EZ Daze RV Park in January 2011 in Southhaven Mississippi, it was very nice - park looked almost brand new. Was not a bad commute to the Memphis sites, including the Peabody Ducks downtown, was close to Graceland.
Big RV dealer next door, I suspect it was owned by person who owned campground.

You might want to consider going to Tunica,Ms. as your home base for your visit. Several of the casinos have nice campgrounds that are safe and clean. Tunica is about 15 mins. or so south of Memphis. I personally like Sam's Town..great buffett..

Hi, All ... let’s just say I work on a truck you call when you get hurt.. so that being said.. I would NOT stay in Memphis.. NOT safe.. However in MS (10 min drive) there are a few close RV parks.. the best would be Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts it’s in Horn Lake just across the state line.. or go to Tunica.. lots to see there plus the food is great..
Memphis has a lot to see.. during the day..To much thuggery at night.. I know I put band aids of GSW almost every night here and would hate to see a fellow RV'er in my rig..

The park was overall fairly nice. It was only us and two other campers at the time and both others appeared to be longer term. Facilities were pretty clean and everything worked as advertised. The lake water level was really low by the campground, but I think it will fill up later in the season.I walked to the playground and it was really nice. Lake levels by the boat ramp were up and there was a couple of boaters out. Overall it was a good state park. There are very wooded sites however not a lot of level ground around the site, as the RV pads seemed built up. We were mainly here to shake out the new RV. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I've no house in the city, just a camping tent in the wild.

Never stayed there but when we went to Memphis it was to Graceland and we stayed right there. It was like a bare bones park but we felt completely safe with hookups and swiming pool. The campground was right in back of the Heartbreak Hotel with all of the Elvis attractions within walking distance.

Open year round. Dog and children friendly. Big rig friendly
But no tents,DOGS: NO pitbull ,rottweiller , staffordshire bull terriers or any mix of.
Hate living in the house which is like a box.
So I like Tent Camping.

We loved Tom Sawyer Campground and have stayed there several times. It is great to watch the working river in progress and where else would you get free laundry. Great folks who run it also
