My wife and I are wanting to upgrade to either a travel trailer or fifth wheel but I have questions for you who are veterans.
1.I have a 1989 GMC short wheel base regular cab truck. Which is better to pull, fifth wheel or travel trailer.
2. Have no idea how much I can pull. All info is missing off the door. I assume I need to stay in the 6000 lb range dry weight.
3. Do I need to install a heavy duty transmission cooler?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Hey mate....are you serious???

It is nice that other "posters" are taking the time and effort to reply to your OP.

My question....how did you get a driver's license in the first place!!!? LOL.

eye8Ubutler, are you serious? People need to start asking questions somewhere, this forum is a great place to start.

I agree, most of us were not "experts" when we started out. Most of us have been through the school of hard knocks.

When people come here all they know is that they want to tow a bigger trailer, it's terrible to assume that people should know. That's what this forum is here for.

To the op. ask all the questions you want, no matter how insignificant some people may think it is. And yes I am serious.

Thanks
