I had a question if any one can give me any tips. Are there any good tricks to camping in a pop up TC in the rain or scattered showers? I want to make sure everything will be fine this weekend.
Thanks Everyone,
Dave

I had no issues with rain intrusion on my previous 2 Northstar pop-ups other than a little condensation in colder weather... but that is prolly normal for pop-ups. The rain falling on the metal roof at night is mesmerizing white noise.

I don't know, don't camp in a gully prone to flash flooding? You're pop up TC is certainly not going to be bothered by rain!!

6-7 weeks and 13,000 miles last summer to Alaska never had a problem. I think it must have rained at least once. Had a 10' Sun Lite Condor.

A kind of obvious note, but be sure to leave it popped up to dry thoroughly when the rain stops (or when you get home) so your canvas doesn't grow mold.
I've never had a leak or problem in the rain in 7 years in my pop-up (except a little cabin fever while we waited out the rain).
Cheers, Kim

1. Remember to close the roof vent.
2. Plan for rainy day activities.
3. Keep having fun.
4. Dry everything out when you get home.

Thanks Everyone,
I think we will go for it, and have some fun this weekend. This will be our second trip with the TC. Hopefully it will not get that bad. We like to spend most of the time outside.

Good advice everyone Glad to see there are other pop up truck campers out there. We haven't seen another one in our area yet.
