I just walked into my 2012 Greyhawk 31 FS and all was dead. It has been sitting since Saturday and plugged in like I always do. I want to reset the main power cord circuit but don't know where it is. Is it with the other circuit breakers? Everything runs fine on gen power but nothing when plugged in to shore. Leaving for Disney in a few days, so please HELP!!!

Try this. When you open your coach door there should be a battery cut off switch near the entry. Hit the switch and all your power should go on if you are connected to shore power. Hope this works.

See you on the road!

Why don't you call the dealer? It looks to me that it is still under warranty. And if not, they would not have to start doing a lot of guessing as you can answer their questions. It may be a reset that has popped out. Marvh

I have never had a motor home that the 120 volt was controlled by the cutoff switch by the door. On mine that is the 12 volt system. Marvh

Problem is there is no power when connected to shore at all. Dealer is 5 hours away!! When the generator is running, the 20 and 30 amp stuff is not working. The fridge, ac and such....I am at a loss...

If you have an outside utility compartment, look for a little red reset button. The power went out on our Expedition and it was a simple reset. But I was like you, I never knew that it was there. Marvh

Update...no power from shore or generator. The battery is also not charging. I am guessing its a converter problem, as the dc power seems to be ok, no ac power at all. Disney in a few days and now im in panic mode....

In the converter panel, usually brown steel panel covering it, one of the circuit breakers on the 120v side, is usually the main breaker. One ours, it is the left breaker and labeled MAIN. If it tripped or turned off, you will not have any 120v to the RV. Turn it off and on again to be sure, sometimes if it is tripped you cannot tell by position.

Upon further review, I looked in the compartment where the converter is and saw a wire that was unpluged. I pluged it in and everything came on....I then went in the house to "educate" my kids on how bad it is to lie. When I went back out to the coach, all was dead again. I went back into the compartment and jiggled some stuff around and the transfer switch started to buzz and all came back on again. I don't see how it was the transfer switch when it really seemed like a converter issue. Either way all is working now and I will call the dealer in the morning and see what I need to do. I love RVs!!!!

Re-set all your 120VAC breakers as suggested. At least in our Jayco, the shore tie cable is permanently attached inside the coach, at the Trasfer Switch and Converter. I wonder about the Transfer Switch. It might have failed in a way that it passes neither Shore or Genny power instead of picking one or the other. 2012? Do you have or can you download Owner Manual from Jayco.com? Does it tell you anything? That new, I'm thinking defective new component, failed connection, breaker or switch missed. Are you comfortable working around hte 120VAC with Meter, Test Probe, or Test Light to try and see how far the power is getting?
