Only Maxxis - china-made GY marathon and carlisle have many reported issues according to forum members.

Also, when you do purchase the Maxxis, also have stainless steel valve stems installed and tires balanced.

I purchased Towmasters instead from NTB a few weeks ago. I have been very satisfied with them on this trailer so far and my boat trailer which has seen a couple thousand miles already. Greenball who makes towmasters also make the Marathons for GY now. Same tread pattern and everything.

My Marathons sucked as well as my previous Carsliles. When I went to Maxxis years ago, I just had heavy duty rubber stems put in and never a problem. I run 80PSI in my Es. JMHO, you do what you want as I'm sure you're full grown.

Maxxis is the only ST tire I will use.

Do some price shopping. I just had a set of Maxxis 225/75/15 D range put on for $470.00.

Local. I had another quote of $490.00 at a different place. I bought three sets of tires so the guy gave me a better deal. Just saying do your homework. I assumed the Maxxis would be a lot higher but they really weren't.

x2 on the Towmasters, keep them properly inflated and not overloaded. Be sure you get radial tires NOT bias-ply tires.

FWIW, Maxxis is not available everywhere, ie there are no dealers in the NY area, so not sure where the OP is posting from. Now that I live in KY I will likley go Maxxis on the next set, but have not had any issues with the TowMasters either.
