I'm looking for a hitch mount that will accommodate my scooter. It is a Yamaha Majesty with a weight of about 500lbs. Think motorcycle with smaller front wheel rather than moped. I'm having trouble finding anything that will handle that weight along with the smaller wheel size. Most have a max capacity of 500 lbs and I would like a wiggle room of a few hundred pounds at least. Is this a hitch capacity limit or have I just not found the right one yet?
some class IV receivers have a much higher rating but they MAY not fit your tow vehicle. Of course with a welding torch most ANYTHING can be made to fit. If you can't find a class IV that will fit your vehicle then you may be able to find a class V that will.

What type of vehicle do you have? Most cars, 1/2 ton pickups and A-class gas MH have a vertical, tongue weight of 500lbs. Even then a class4 receiver may fit, but still would not raise the capacity about 500lbs.

Though I'd found something at that site but then it specifically stated that rear engine mounted scooters weighing over 300 lbs wouldn't word with it. Oh well, the search continues.
