The Pullrite SuperGlide with the super rails was installed on Saturday.
It actually went very smoothly from what my husband told me at least
We arrived at our friends house at 11am and didn't really start until 11.30 am. It took maybe a total of 2.5 hours max to do everything. The hardest part was trying to find the part that you need to lower the spare tire! Oh and he also said the measuring part would have been easier if they could do the math correctly.
The super rails on the GMC 3500 was super easy. There were NO holes that needed to be drilled in the frame. It used ALL exisiting holes under the bed. They had to remove the bolts to the spring suppport. They had to remove the spring support to get the pullrite thing on under the bed.
The only drilling that needed to be done was in the bed. 4 little holes (which they discovered they did the math wrong) and then the 4 big holes.
Then they torqued everything.
Overall, I think it was so easy partly because our friend read the instructions 10 times and knew what to do. My husband thinks that if he and I were to do it, it would have taken longer (I'm probably not much help and would be more of a hindrance).
When I got back to find the hitch more or less installed in less than 3 hours I was pleasantly surprised. I was worried that there were a lot of extra bolts lying around, but they finally told me that it was because they removed the spring support and used those bolts instead.
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Tweetys was an excellent place to make the purchase. Pullrite was a great company and the install was very easy. I'm glad I got the superrails because it was less drilling.
The only questions I have is, how to you keep the hitch from moving around when nothing is attached? I tried to read the very short instruction manual, but it didn't say anything about that. Am I missing something?
Also I'll try to load a picture, but I'm not sure how. I only got the picture of it installed.
This is the picture of my little guy and my husband getting started on the truck:
I hope the pictures work.
Thanks!

2012 GMC 3500HD, Diesel, Crew Cab Standard Bed, SRW
2013 Cyclone 3010 (to be picked up)
And here is a picture of me helping to install the running boards (steps or whatever its called). So I DID help a little bit
The tank on the passenger side made it very difficult to install the front bracket. Our friend had to do some modifications and they couldn't get the bolt in. That damn tank was in the way!

The Owner's Manual that came with the hitch has a page addressing this. I believe it's page 11 on this link:

Also, check out the lubrication section. It would be a shame to see a great install like this go to waste, all for the lack of some WD-40!
How often should I spray it with WD 40? We haven't hooked it up to anything yet and thank you for the link. I was reading the manual in the car... I must have missed it. (Or just didn't understand it.
Don't use greese on the rails. Its very messy. Go to tractor supply and pick up a can of slip plate( it might have another name). Its a dry graphite spray that works so much better than the greese.
your truck will settle down with weight in the Bed, i installed the superglide today and it took a few hrs but was not too bad. i had to drill all the holes execpt for one
