It has taken over a two years, but we are back to owning a trailer. We started out with a PUP and owned it for 4 seasons. Sold it two seasons ago, with the intent of replacing it with a TT. That dream was finally realized last weekend when we signed the papers on a 2012 Passport 2910GT quad bunk trailer.

We started looking seriously at this season's local RV show back in February. My wife really liked one particular floorplan, bunkhouse TT with a double double bunk config, in particular the Jayco Whitehawk 28DSBH. However, none were available in Michigan until sometime in May. We ended up looking at a used 2910GT and she said this layout would work. Ended up finding a new one for $250 more than the used 2010 model.

Looking forward to an enjoyable upcoming camping season.

Congratulations on the new one..we also moved up from a PUP this year. We have enjoyed camping in our new used TT. We have been out three weekends so far with it, total of 12 days. DW and I were talking how so much easier it is than what we had. I know you will enjoy it.

Congratulations! We have a similar story, PUP to TT then new TT this year. It's a White Hawk 28DSBH in fact. We ordered one and it should be at the dealer hopefully some time next week.

Congrats. Bring a videocamera to your PDI if you haven't done it already. Also, try to leave any young kids home w/ a babysitter if you can. May you have many happy camping trips in your new TT.

Congrats. New Passport 238 owner here. Love the camper so far and have had no issues. Planning numerous trips this season and already have one under the belt. Get out and enjoy it every chance possible.

Thanks everyone. We don't have it yet, as our dealer is going to store it until sometime in May for us. Also, thanks for the advice on bringing a video camera to the PDI - that is a great suggestion. We're planning on leaving the kids at home when we take delivery as well.

The only item left on the table to decide is which WDH to buy. I'm leaning towards either the Equalizer 4 point or the Reese Dual Cam. The dealership is pushing hard for the Equalizer 2 point, but I'm just not sure. Being an Engineer by trade, I would rather have too much than not enough.

Mark, if a local dealership would have had another 28DSBH, that would probably been the one we bought.
