Let me see, unhooked the camper on "level" site(Not so) and it rolled off the wood block. No real damage. Didn't notice the cabinet door open behind the end of the slide before I started it out and busted off the handle. (minor cost to repair). Didn't notice the wire bundle hanging down under the slide laying on the tire before 100 mile trip. Burned through most of them (minor cost and major aggravation to repair on the side of the road so I could get my brakes and lights back)! Locked myself out of the camper on a Holiday weekend and didn't have a spare key accessible ($75 and 2 hours trapped outside waiting for locksmith). I plan on greasing my wheel bearings and adjusting brakes real soon (who knows how many stupid dollars that will cost). You have a ways to go to catch up!

Hooked up everything between the TT and Suburban; pulled out of the site and drove though the campground; pulled out on to the hard surface road and after about 200ft...BANG…..what tha S*%^$?.......forgot to put the hitch pin in.
No damage (other than my ego) and after 15mins of unhooking/re-hooking and lots of “good natured banter” with the campground folks we were on our way. Now have “PIN?” written on the box were I store the hitch. Lesson learned – it’s easy to get distracted.

Was backing my truck into our spot after dark...watching all the obstacles VERY closely...and backed right into the front corner of the camper. Camper is actually fine. Tailgate, not so much. Guess which one I have to see EVERY DAY?
After PenMan's story, it's all moot anyway. His stepmother wins. Period.

That occurred on a very hot summer day and the DW was unhappy. In fact it was ice cold in the rig for days after that.
hey CA
I will swear under oath that CG moved directly in my path. It wasn't my fault, it was the cg moving. truly. I saw it. I swear.

That is why they call this kind of thing an accident. We all make them. There is NO value in beating yourself up over it. You are an amature mistake maker anyway. You are a rookie. I make much more costly mistakes than that. Sheeesh, give yourself a break. Though it wo7uld probley make you feel better I am not going to tell you my latest. Perhaps others will add their latest blunders? Happy Trails. Remember it's not fatal.

Day 1 of bringing the TH home. Go to back it in the side yard and hit the corner of the house with the top of the trailer. Luckily it only tore up some rain gutter and left a mark on the top corner at the back of the trailer. DW was pissed!

Didn't happen to me but I saw my brother who was ahead of me, cut a corner to soon and a heavy metal roof over a big BBQ pit sliced the whole side of his motor home open from windshield back to the ladder. He had it repaired, never would tell me what it cost him. I always wondered if he had dreamed up a way for the insurance company to pay for the damage.
