This is certainly none of my business and I'm sure you will tell me so BUT how in the world can some people afford these huge "coaches"??????
I feel like a step child in this RV park. My little teeny 18 ft TT.
We are baby boomer age and cannot now or ever be able to afford anything like I am seeing. We just got out of a tent this year after 40 in a tent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am just curious and no one has to respond to this nosey question

monthly payments.
Now whether or not they actually make them on time is another story.

It's simple. Some people had higher paying jobs, plus they didn't spend all the extra money on other things.

Buy used, you can save a lot. Especially if you are talking about towable RV.

You most likely are having more fun, than half of the million dollar rigs.....
Enjoy the adventure with what you got.
I am amazed also, this past winter in Florida, seemed like every 4th or 5th vehicle traveling into Florida down the highway, was a Class A, or mack-daddy fifthe wheels!!! Big money!

Some have sold a home, bought a huge motorhome and now live in that.
Others have saved and decided this is where their cigarette, beer, lotto, and childrens' inheiritance will go.
Others are frugal in other ways, saved money and bought used.
Lots of explanations for what we spend our money on. It is a free country (last I checked, tomorrow may be different) and one can buy (and lose it) what they want.
Personally, I feel there is a point that even full-timing RVs are wwwwaaaayyyy over done. Do we really need tray ceilings with fiber optic lighting in an RV. But then others want to live it. To each her/his own. Never feel like you have to keep up. Remember your little RV that you use to camp in for fun is much nicer than where some people put their head at night.

I don't care what someone else is driving. I drive what I can afford. I used to care, for over 30 years about keeping up with the Jones'. That all went south in 08 and now I don't care. Mine is vintage and paid for. To each his own. I may be ugly, but I'm at the ball.

But some are. How is that "uppity"? I am certainly NOT warren buffet, but I do well with what I have. If I did better, I expect my RV (like a lot of my things) would reflect that. I certainly don't begrudge anyone for having more than me, any more than I look down on those with less than me. And let's face it, if most of us didn't have "extra money", we wouldn't be here talking about our mobile vacation homes!
Don't be a hater, if someone can afford a million dollar coach, good on em. I'm happy with my pickup and TT, and someday, I'd like a nice Airstream, just because. And, someday I will!
