I would rather camp next to most dogs, than next to most people. At least with a dog, I can smack them on the nose when their annoying, and pet them on the backside when I like em. Just can't do that with people anymore.

That is what it sounds like to me too! What a shame to get so bent out of shape about a dog. There are some people on this forumn that I hope I never have the misfortune of camping beside.
