Is there a "best" HDTV for use in an RV? Camping World claims Jensen is the best for holding up to heat, humidity and vibration. A 24" is about $400 though, which is high compared to those on Amazon for indoor use, say $200. I don't mind spending the extra money if it is really worth it.

In our 5ers, we've had Sony, Sansui, Samsung and Vizio. The best ones are LED and whatever you can find on sale.

I'm on my second year with a Vizio and it
seems to holding up fine. I can get 2 of them for the price of a Jensen. JMO

I have a 19" Sharp LED that I got from Costco a couple of years ago and it still works great. Don't spend the extra money for the Jensen. Get an LED from a store that has them on sale.

It depends on if you are thinking about 12 volt or 120 volt, I was going for a 12 volt but changed my mind and am going with a 120 volt and a inverter
Check out this thread
You can buy a 120 volt for almost 1/2 the price of a 12 volt
I once read that studies have shown that most accidents occurr within 10 miles of home, so I moved

I have viewed Jensen premium pricing as a marine environment cost.
With inexpensive inverters and low power 110acv tvs today a Jensen is not necessary in an RV unless you leave it at the beach most of the time.

Jensen, yeah....they're right up there with the Memorex TV....I've had a Sharp 32" LCD that came new with my 5er...it's in a back bedroom now and I have a much lighter LED/LCD Vizio that I got at Sams Club for $259.....I've got a 2 yr old 55" Visio in the house, LED/LCD and for the price, they're hard to beat ...and they do last.....
as stated earlier, LCD, LED or combo LED/LCD for the best price is the best deal...I kept the Sharp in my 5er year round...temps. near or at 100% several times and as low as single digits and I've had zero issues with it, works as well as the day I first turned it on.....same with the Vizio, just haven't had it very long..
