I have a quarter size spiderweb crack in my door. I found it last year, looks like maybe it took a rock on a trip. I would like to get it repaired. Does the fiberglass have a gelcoat or is it painted? The body shop asked as they cannot replace gelcoat.

If it is gelcoat, could a boat repair facility re-do the gelcoat?

Gelcoat repair on my boats always involved epoxy and sanding...

Call Forest River and get their recommendation.

Didn't get a response from Forest River.After cleaning the hole up with the dremel, I'm going to fill the hole with shredded fiberglass (probably no more than a teaspoon), being careful not to fill the hole completely. I purchased a gel coat repair kit for the top. I know it won't match perfectly, but I think it will look better than painting a the patch.
