Is it safe to put a 163cc scooter and two bikes on a 5 x 8 utility trailer and tow behind my 27 foot Lexington? Scooter will be in a wheel chock. The trailer is the mesh type with a mesh floor.

It sounds perfectly safe, but what part are you concerned about?

It should work out very well. One thing to consider is that small utlity trailers have poor / stiff suspension and you need to be very thorough to tie down everything very well.

I don't know why but I'm concerned about the fragility of the utility trailer. I've pulled a 19ft HiLo hard side pop-up and a 26 foot. fifth wheel but this seems to be more intimidating; such a small trailer behind the motor home.

Just remember if you have GS ERS, it doesn't cover your trailer. Other ERS folks do, at least ours does (Allstate RV RoadHelp).

Sounds good to me. It is light enough that brakes will not be required, you will just need appropriate trailer lights. I used to pull a utility trailer with the kids bikes down to San Diego all the time when we had the 28ft Establishment C with the Ford engine.
Enjoy.

Check the frame rails for the trailer's load rating. Compare the load rating with you intended load plus the trailer weight to the load rating. Make sure the trailer tires are properly inflated based on the tire rating as stated on the side wall of the tires.
