We were going through a bunch of old magazines last night before we threw them out and found a Moab activity planner published by the Moab Area Travel Council we picked up two years ago. Really neat thing, lists all sorts of things including forty campgraounds in the area. Checked the web site clicky and today they list 44. Just FYI, personally we like Dead Horse Point best and Devils Garden in Arches is nice too.

I can remember when the town of Moab almost died out and became a ghost town after the Uranium mines shut down. Now even with dozens of motels and campgrounds in the area you often find weekends where you have a lot of trouble finding any place to stay.
You're good. We have stayed in both CG's and loved them. Check my profile for a photo at Devils Garden in the old Class C. Dead Horse is my favorite (not counting The Goosenecks).
Moab Brewing made a great chili pepper beer. We also loved the Slick Rock Cafe, but they were closed for breakfast when we were there in October.

On our last trip to DHP, we needed to get to the Balloon Fiesta in ABQ so needed to get up early (6am, dark, October) so I got ready the night before to slip out quietly, but it's 20F in the morning and I have 1/4" of of ice glazed to the Jeep windshield... scrape, scrape, scrape (sorry to our neighbors).
Another time at Devil's Garden it's July and 95F. It's blowing about 25-30 knots, and will for the next 3 days. CG is chaos with tents and lawn chairs moving horizontally about until collected against the rocks/hoodoos. My cousin and his wife from Finland are with us and we choose to move on rather than continue to be sand etched... as did many people in the CG. But I still love it.
Also thanks for the link. DHSP is one of our favourites. Will be in the area towards mid June & DHSP is booked solid. I think they hold a few for 1st comes so will try them first. Having power for AC would be nice but at on top of the mesa I guess the evenings cool off pretty good. I'll take the hot & dry over the not quite as hot but 95% humidity that I get here at sealevel.

We stayed at Arch View RV park. About 10 miles west of Arches NP and on the main highway. It was about 4 years though but then a nice park. A very nice view of the Arches especially in the morning during sunrise

Thanks for the kind words, the first time we went to the Moab area our girls were in their early teens or maybe even tweens. DHP was as inspirering then as it is now but the road to the overlook was dirt and pretty rough and there wasn't any DHP Park or campground. The DGKs loved it but I did scare the bejesus out of the 10 yo granddaughter driving down into Canyonlands from Island in the Sky, that is when I found out she doesn't like drop offs. Got to get some four ply tires for the towed so we can really explore the canyon bottem. Think we'll do it between Spring Break and Summer next time, the Snow, Rain and Wind was a little too much, but fun.
