Hey, looking about doing a trip to Pittsburgh, PA wondering if anyone can recommend any good campgrounds in the area.

Thanks in advance.

I've always enjoyed Crawfords Campground in Darlington, PA The people have always been nice. It's about 30 miles NW of Pittsburgh. 724-846-5964.

I am coming from NE PA, looking something on the East Side of Pittsburgh. Thanks!

We stayed at Raccoon Creek State Park (about 20-ish miles West of Pittsburgh) for a week and had a fanstatic time. Good sites, facilities, people, and there is a fruit stand down the road selling the best produce.

There are not too many choices near Pittsburgh. Here is one option:

In addition, there is Keystone State Park east of the city.

If you have time, spend a day at Kennywood Amusement Park - it is one of our favorite places.

I just made reservations at friendship village today. I hope it's nice.

I live about 25 miles NE of Pittsburgh.

Only one choice, Mountain Top Campground. 20 minutes East of the Golden Triangle.

Laurel Highlands SP. There's definitely a dearth of campgrounds close to the 'burgh.

We love Jellystone Mill Run! We are leaving our camper there for the summer. Great pool areas and a new splash park with slides. New store and restaurant. We cannot wait.
