Sorry, but for the life of me I can't seem to find a suitable thread that gives a somewhat detailed description for upgrading the basic Dometic thermostat for the Hunter non-programmable thermostat. I purchased the Hunter stat plus a simple mini 2 position switch for the high low/fan fan speed. Could someone be so kind as to direct me to a post that may give some insight. I'm not too smart when it comes to electronics, but I know I can do this.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the link Jim. Les, I could not remember who it was that had a link for that particular mod in their signature, but I knew someone on here did. At any rate, thanks to all!

Is there any way to hook up a thermostat to a non ducted A/C unit. Sorry to jump in but I've thinking about this and now seemed a good time to ask.

That was my original article of some 10 years ago that jimtoo linked you to... It's wiring instructions are still valid today...
The link in my signature will also take you to that same article... Pretty straight forward mod - let me know if you have any trouble with the install...

Yes, there is a way to do it but it's not real easy and can be a bit pricy...
Send a PM to our Tech Issue Moderator 96bounder30E (go to tech issues and click on his ID at the top of the forum and send a PM)... He did the modification quite a few years ago and might still have documentation available...
