We were thinking of going to New Jersey sometime to stay at a nice family campground. Any suggestions and ways to go without hitting all the tolls? We are from Maryland and visiting my cousins the other weekend, in just our dual-truck, we spent over 20 dollars...I can't imagine how much we would spend in tolls with the toy hauler attached--estimating 100 dollars??

Unless you want to go the REALLY long way,,,, your best bet is the Delaware Memorial Bridge to 40 East... take it East to the shore points...You did not say what part of New Jersey ??? That will really decide which way is better... on 95..in Philadelphia , the bridges are FREE going into NJ..you pay as you leave there , not sure about the Delaware bridge??
All bridges and tunnels are free going into NJ, you pay to leave. Since you are coming rom Maryland, stay at the southern campgrounds, it will minimize your hghway tolls. Here is a list of many campgrounds, use a map to select southern ones. Clicky
