Has anyone been to the Yellowstone Military CG between Yellowstone and Tetons?

Wondering if it has RV or camping sites as well as the rental trailers.

Had only trailers some time ago, but heard a 'rumor' it updated and now has RV/Camp sites as well.

Web info seems conflicting, so anyone that's actually been there lately?

According to Military Campgrounds site and the pdf available there, only rental trailers are available at $80/night - no rv sites.

If this is one you are referring to, it only has trailers for rent.
May want to call to verify.

there is no military campground at yellowstone or the tetons.
the only thing Flagg Ranch has(for the military, I guess) is some trailers for rent. But the webpage specifically says there is no military campground there.

This info is on the web ... and I also read somewhere in this mess (on the web) that the military now has RV sites - but it was confusing. SOOOOOOO, asked if anyone had actually been there lately ...

So, now I'll ask again - has anyone actually been there and can tell me first hand. And it's probaby NOT Flagg Ranch. But a site related to Home AFB - can't get an answer, but will continue trying the phone. Thanks M44

Okay - here's the answer to the "RV" confusion ... Home AFB has RV sites at the base and the Marina. Also, operates a trailer park at Flagg with NO RV sites.

But if you go to the AFB website, the AFB says trailers and RV sites in the same sentence - but you can book Yellowstone rental thru the AFB.

So, thanks for the info, but at this time, NO RV sites for military at Yellowstone CGs, only trailers for rent.

Don't you just love a mystery? It seems that the Mountain Home AFB, ID recreation department has some trailers at Flagg Ranch for military use. Just a quick 380 mile drive away. Guess its Flagg Ranch's way of getting customers. After you've driven that far, you might as well stay. Its kind of like hanging a pork chop around your neck to get the dog to play with you.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
