I just purchased a 89 Chevy Horizon B van. The first thing i did was remove the cooktop. Previous owner cut the lp line and removed the tank so i had wasted counter space. I use induction burners to cook with and i have theFridgidaire brand. I fit almost exactly in the hole left by the 2 burner cooktop. I added a 1 inch square strip along the end and down one side of the hole to snug it up and in the 2 inch gap at the end i will put a floor register painted black for a vent. The cooktop was the only propane appliance so i really didnt lose anything and i will be getting a Honda generator for back up power. Can't wait till i get through with my changes an get to go on my first trip.
