I surely hate to see it go. It was a 1995 Dodge Diesel Class C 25 foot Scotty with 50,000 miles on it. Garage kept since new.I love it and kept it ready to go.It goes next week.I am 72 now and she thinks it time to stay home and off the roads I guess.I am thinking of buying a backpack and take off when she out shoping and never look back and keep going I don't know where.Boy I feel low.I know I will never have a another Motor Home like that.Where does a man that worthless go? No fun getting old I guess.
Wife bought me another Motor Home I guess she was tired of me crying.

Since you seem to be comfortable backpacking, i.e. don't need much, why not consider downsizing to a van or a Class B? You'd have something you could scoot around town with and also something that you could use for camping or a backpacking base.

Seems to be more to the story why would a loving wife make a guy sell somthing he truly loves and takes pleasure in amd at 17 years old I cant believe it is worth a kings ransom unless money is an issue it don't make sense to me.

This is a case where I would not listen to the Wife. I would def keep the MH.
I am older than you and no one tells me what to sell or buy or whatever !! Make your own decisions . That what the Wife and I do. Married 54 years

Scotty made some nice class C's. I guess you are keeping the other camper? Is that one more a hunting camper?
Seems like a sad day, and I am not looking forward to my day to hang up the keys. I am still only 46, so I at least have a few more years to go before vision gets bad, and I really should not be driving. Perhaps a smaller car, and driving to hotels that you do not need to clean, and going out to dinner that you do not need to cook or clean up afterwords is what is meant for both of you in the retirement years? Sure not as fun as the backwoods in the Scotty, but not nearly as much work either to keep it clean.

72 is just a number. It depends on what shape your 72 is in.
I am 73 and bike more than 2000 miles each year and plan to keep my TT for awhile yet.
