I was wondering and want advice on what wax to use and can I use a buffing polisher! I do have decals on the front? Can I also wax the sides and use the buffer. I usually just use a spray on wax that I use for my cars, truck and bike? Thanks for any help.

Most RV waxes are rub on, rub off. I wouldn't use a buffer on the decals. My biggest problem is reaching.

This is one of those topics that gets a lot of answers and opinions, all of which are usually right depending on circumstances. IMO if your unit is fiberglass then use a product made for fiberglass. There are many-Maguiars and Mothers are a couple brands that have products for fiberglass and are easily available locally. I use Maguiars #50 cleaner and wax and I like the look of my rig and have received many complements. I don't use spray wax much as I believe that a cream or paste will last longer,IMO. As for a buffer, I would not even attempt the job without a random orbit buffer. It is a big job and doing it by hand makes it harder. Again there are different brands and other types of buffers so pick one you like. If you make it easier to do then it will get done more often.

I use a random orbit polisher on the whole rig. This includes the front cap and decals. I think I use Maguiars also.

I need to wash and wax it once our April snow is over in Pittsburgh this week.

X2 The amount of oxidation will determine which Maguires wax to use.
