There are two locks on the door of my kodiak. One on the handle the other like a dead bolt. The dead bolt is jammed and will not budge. Help Help!!!

If it was me, I would try to get in by the bed ends and see if I can unlock it from inside.

Perhaps there a bind in the deadbolt due to the frame being supported uneven. Raise or lower your trailer tongue to see if you can change the angle and try again.

Tried that Dre. There is a little red lever inside and it wouldn't budge. Had my wife jiggle the key on the outside while i tried the lever on the inside....no go. Next???

I'd get plenty of WD40 into the key hole and let it sit for a while. You might also try pushing in on the door. My guess though is that it needs to be lubricated.

if it continues to be stubborn just bust it with a screwdriver and hammer from the outside. I lost the keys to mine, and since a locksmith call is $75 to $100 I just hammered it out and turned it with screwdriver. A whole new lockset with new keys is only 35 bucks at a dealer, and 25 bucks on ebay.

On the WD-40....unless you've already done it, suggest you don't. A locksmith at my old office told us that was the worst thing to use since it will freeze. Make a Lowe's or HD run and get some powdered graphite especially for locks or maybe they will have the spray especially for locks. If you've already done it, good luck. Hope it works.

I have to pull the door to me (inside) and then the red handle will lock, maybe this would work to release it? I'm with the other posters, lubricate if you can. Also if you have ERS, would they be able to help? Just a thought.
